Adeel Ahmad, M.D., is a member of the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch (CINN), Chicago, Illinois and the CINN Institute for Spine Care.
A board-certified physician, Dr. Ahmad is trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation and is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with spine, joint, nerve, and musculoskeletal diseases. He frequently uses neurodiagnostic medicine in evaluating his patients. Dr. Ahmad specializes in treating patients suffering from pain associated with degenerative conditions of the back and neck, as well as sports and work -related injuries and employs a wide-range of minimally invasive treatment techniques including fluoroscopically guided spinal injections in conjunction with physical therapy and radiofrequency neurotomy.
Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. After completing his degree, he held a yearlong internship at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center, Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2004, Dr. Ahmad pursued a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the New York University – Rusk Institute, where he was appointed Unit Chief for the Medically Complex and Musculoskeletal Units. When he completed his residency, Dr. Ahmad held a Spine Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Ahmad is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
